Night Terrors Records and Personal Records are thrilled to announce “Caustic Maelstrom”, the highly anticipated second full-length album from Mexico City Death-Metal horde IN OBSCURITY REVEALED. Set for release on October 9th 2026, the album is available now for preorder on cassette via Night Terrors Records and CD via Personal Records, with the vinyl edition to follow in 2027. The first single, “Engulfed in Caustic Maelstrom,” is available on all major streaming platforms.

Formed in Mexico City in 2014, IN OBSCURITY REVEALED delivers uncompromising DEATH METAL. Following early releases with Caverna Abismal Records, the band partnered with Blood Harvest Records to unleash the ‘Grim Fumes Of Revelation’ EP (2016), their debut album ‘Glorious Impurity’ (2018) and a split with hometown allies Infesticide (2021).

Eight years after their debut, IN OBSCURITY REVEALED returns with their second full-length album, “Caustic Maelstrom”. Rejecting trends and stylistic mutations, the band pushes deeper into hostile terrain to deliver their darkest landscape yet. The album is pitch-black in atmosphere but pulses with the cavernous muscularity of foundational influences like early Morbid Angel, Necrovore and Incantation. With a production that perfectly balances clarity and crush, IN OBSCURITY REVEALED surges with horrific abandon and vulgar finesse. Only DEATH is realer.

Having completed two European tours and preparing for a third this year, the path remains unchanged: IN OBSCURITY REVEALED plays DEATH METAL. “Caustic Maelstrom” is their latest blood upon the altar - kneel or offer up thyself for sacrifice.
